RESUMEN: Reducir los tiempo de tratamiento ortodóncico y efectos adversos, ha aumentado la demanda en encontrar un mejor método  para aumentar el movimiento de dientes con la menor posibles desventajas, lo que ha llevado a los investigadores a estudiar el control del movimiento ortodóncico determinado principalmente por la remodelación de los tejidos que rodean las raíces; y sus mecanismos moleculares que los regulan. Esta revisión de literatura  resume los conocimientos actuales sobre los enfoques biológicos que subyacen el movimiento acelerado de los dientes durante el tratamiento ortodóncico.

ABSTRACT: Reduce the time of orthodontic treatment and adverse effects, it has increased the demand to find a better method to increase the movement of teeth with possible minor disadvantages, which has led researchers to study the control of certain orthodontic movement mainly by remodeling of the tissues surrounding the roots; and their molecular mechanisms that regulate them.
