ANÁLISIS DEL USO DE LA TECNOLOGIAS DE LA INFORMACION Y COMUNICACIONES Y SU INFLUENCIA EN EL NIVEL DE VIDA DEL ADULTO MAYOR

ANALYSIS OF THE USE OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGIES AND ITS INFLUENCE ON THE LEVEL OF LIVING OF OLDER ADULTS

RESUMEN: La reciente investigación detenta como objetivo llevar a cabo el análisis del uso de las tecnologías de la información y comunicaciones por los adultos mayores y como esta ha influido en sus vidas. La investigación fue aplicado a los integrantes del aula del saber de la Universidad Católica San Pablo, empleando el método del cuestionario bajo un modelo personalizador, incluyendo la escala de Likert; este cuestionario fue aplicado a 45 integrantes del aula del saber, por medio de la apreciación del integrante, valorando sus afectos y emociones que tiene el integrante con relación al uso de la tecnología; en el factor conocimiento el 51.11% manifestaron tener familiaridad con la tecnología mientras que en el factor reutilización el 49% reconocen como emplear la tecnología; asimismo, en el factor actitudes el 40% notan la calidad de la tecnología. Asimismo, se demuestra una alta relación entre el uso de las tecnologías de información y comunicaciones y el nivel de vida de las personas adultas. Para hacer esto se lleva a cabo una descripción sobre el significado del uso de la tecnología y su relación con el nivel de vida del adulto mayor. La presente investigación se llevó a cabo mediante el enfoque de la metodología de análisis documental.

ABSTRACT: The recent research aims to carry out the analysis of the use of information and communications technoloies by older adults and how it has influenced their lives. The research was applied to the members of the knowledge classroom of the San Pablo Catholic University, using the questionnaire method under a personalizing model, including the Likert scale; This questionnaire was applied to 45 members of the knowledge classroom, through the member's appreciation, assessing their affections and emotions that the member has in relation to the use of technology; In the knowledge factor, 51.11% stated that they were familiar with the technology, while in the reuse factor, 49% recognized how to use the technology; Likewise, in the attitudes factor, 40% note the quality of the technology. Likewise, a high relationship is demonstrated between the use of information and communications technologies and the standard of living of adults. To do this, a description is carried out about the meaning of the use of technology and its relationship with the standard of living of the elderly. This research was carried out using the documentary analysis methodology approach.
