REFLEXIONES SOBRE LA CRISIS DEL DISCURSO DE LA RAZON EN LA POSMODERNIDAD

RESUMEN. La cultura posmoderna Lyotard la ha definido como “Escepticismo ante las metanarrativas”. Esas verdades que se creían universales y absolutas utilizadas para legitimar diversos proyectos políticos y científicos, esto es confiable de no ser secuestrado por algún dogmatismo pero el precio podría ser la indiferencia.  Como bien afirmó el escritor ruso Fedor Dostoyewsky: “Si Dios no existe todo está permitido”. Es difícil no pensar que se me juzgará por mi discurso,  prefiero que se me juzgue por la parte estética de mis argumentos,  debemos tener claro que el primer enemigo de la posmodernidad es la dualidad platónica y cartesiana, lo antidualista en los posmodernos es aseverar que la filosofía occidental creó dualismos y así excluyó del pensamiento ciertas perspectivas. Por otro lado, el postmodernismo valora y promueve el pluralismo y la diversidad (más que negro contra blanco, occidente contra oriente, hombre contra mujer). Asegura buscar los intereses de "los otros" (los marginados y oprimidos por las ideologías modernas y las estructuras políticas y sociales que las apoyaban), en el posmodernismo se cuestiona los grandes discursos. Los posmodernos también afirman que los textos históricos, literarios o de otro tipo, no tienen autoridad u objetividad inherente para revelar la intención del autor, ni pueden decirnos "que sucedió en realidad". Más bien, estos textos reflejan los prejuicios culturales y buscan legitimidad otro aspecto importante: es el ya famoso giro lingüístico, el lenguaje moldea nuestro pensamiento y que no puede haber ningún pensamiento sin lenguaje. Así que el lenguaje crea literalmente la verdad. Por lo tanto, la verdad es una mentira; así nos duela, es una  perspectiva. Además, la verdad es cuestión contingente de contexto más que algo universal. No tenemos acceso a la realidad, a la forma en que son las cosas, sino solamente a lo que nos parece a nosotros, merecido banquete con Protágoras.
